Optimization of the coil shape in deflection yoke considering practical coil winding processes

摘要
Practical techniques for optimizing the coil shape of deflection yoke are proposed. An accurate and practical winding modeler is developed. Volume integral equation method is used for field calculation. A two-step optimization procedure is performed by using 1 + 1 evolution strategy. The first step is for dimensional optimization, while the second performs the pin-position optimization. The optimization processes suitable for the deflection yoke are developed and various techniques are applied to reduce computational time for the optimization.
