摘要
Erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) plays crucial role in future optical networks. The Gain two-dimensional EDFA plays a serious role for contemporary WDM optical application. We have done simulation of WDM Optical Network by changing pump power and length. The system is simulated victimization Optisystem package to realize noise figure, BER (Bit error rate), and gain flatness of EDFA through optimized pump power and fiber length. The gains are two-dimensional at intervals 25dB from 1546 to 1568 nm range of wavelength, keeping bit error rate (BER) <10(-21) with noise figure (NF) <10dB for 32-channels coincident amplification in a very single stage EDFA. A sculptural WDM system having associate EDFA as a locality has bestowed most clad gains.
