摘要
This study employed a qualitative research method and in-depth interviews designed to examine the academic and overall experience of Chinese international students, domestic students, faculty and staff members at the University of Washington (UW). Research revealed five major obstacles influencing Chinese students' perception of their academic and overall well-being on campus: language, social relationship, social habits, Homesick & Independence and culture shock. More intensive language, emotional intelligence and inter-cultural training is vital. Partnership programs between American students and Chinese students should be established to assist in these goals.
