摘要：
The world is increasingly taking interest into sustainable economic development which minimizes damage to the environment; attention is focused towards the Green Economy, which main values encourage to focus towards economic growth, searching for alternatives that would not allow increasing the usage of resources and the negative impact on the environment. Economic and social inequalities in the development of the European region, increasing the population welfare differences are becoming one of the biggest threats to sustainable development. Therefore, this article analyzes the European Union (28 countries) Sustainable Development Indicators, focusing on the European Union and Ukraine opportunities of Green economics development.
