摘要
FTIR spectra of uridine, thymidine, ribose, 2-deoxyribose and glucose were measured in the range of 4000-450 cm(-1) in the low-temperature Ar and Ne matrices. The experimental conditions were optimized to exclude the thermal decomposition of these unstable compounds. The spectral manifestations of conformations of sugars stabilized by intramolecular H-bonds were detected. It was shown that the syn-conformations of uridine and thymidine were stabilized by intramolecular H-bond O(5)H ... O(2). (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
