摘要：
In the present paper we analyze a teaching module which is used to teach numerical methods at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology in Riga Technical University. The module includes lectures which are given in a "standard format" and lab sessions where software package "Mathematica" is used to illustrate the basic ideas discussed during the lectures.
