摘要：
This article deepens the issues related to the valuation of insurance companies and pays attention to specific combined approach for valuing life insurance companies, namely to Embedded Value and Appraisal Value. In addition to the methodology of their calculation it is shown how these methods are used in practice of insurance industry and how they can be used by appraisers.
