Estimation of light extraction efficiency in various surface grating photonic crystal LEDs

摘要：
We calculated the light extraction efficiency in surface grating type photonic crystal LEDs by full 3D FDTD method. We estimated 1.72 to 4.22 fold enhancement for LEDs with different PC and layer structures.
