Special section on advances in flexible displays (Part II) - Introduction

This brief recap of the challenges ahead is the result of the efforts of the flexible-display community. The results have been impressive as this new technology area begins. The questions ahead are still significant. Given the rate of progress, one may expect that the scaling law may have an abscissa with intervals shorter than 18 months.
