摘要:
This article examines the relationship between French philosopher Jacques Maritain and the Basque Nationalist Party, known in Spanish as the Partido Nacional Vasco (PNV). The focus is on the period between the Spanish Civil War and World War II. In order to understand the connection with Mairtain's ideas, the article begins by exploring the evolution of the party's political ideology during the Second Spanish Republic. Why did the PNV choose to back the Republic in the Civil War? The article then focuses on Maritain's collaboration with Basque nationalists, both during the Civil War and the Second World War. Finally, a reflection is made on the significance of this collaboration.
