Electronic transitions in InAs nanocrystals using Wannier function method

摘要
A Wannier function method is employed to compute electronic transitions in InAs nanocrystals. Our calculations agree well with experimental results, in contrast to the predictions of multiband k.p theory. This success results from our accurate treatment of the bulk band structure. We also predict the energies of higher electronic transitions. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
