摘要：

This paper studies current status of sportswear industry in China. Sportswear is an important product in today's textile industry. Consumers' desires for various sportswear garments are also increasing. These two facts make sportswear one of the most promising sectors in the industry. In this paper, three analyses were conducted to examine current status of Chinese sportswear industry. PEST analysis (politics, economic, social, and technology) is used to examine external environment for sportswear industry, while market analysis reviews current market status of the sector. At the end of the paper, a SWOT analysis is carried out based on the findings revealed by looking into PEST environments and market situations. Possible strategies, extracted from SWOT analysis are given accordingly. To conclude, this paper aims to carefully evaluate the current status of sportswear industry in China, and provide a reference of strategies planning for the industry's future development.
