Research and Development of Local Knitting in Three-dimensional Fabric Sweater

The concept of local knitting and the knit method are simply introduced in this paper. Sweaters of various graphical three-dimensional fabrics are knitted by local knitting. The fabrics, which influence the outward appearance of these three-dimensional fabrics, are analyzed and investigated in detail by way of contrast. It was concluded that factors like local knitting needle changes, local woven row number, density of the local weaving and so on, affect the three-dimensional fabric of the graphic shape, size and stability. Whenever there is any factor change, the sweater effects of three-dimensional fabric also changed, therefore, design of three-dimensional fabric sweater pay attention to these factors. It increases thinking among designers, and it is practically significant to promote the development of sweater fabrics.
