摘要：
It is commonly accepted that R&D costs have a positive effect for the overall success of companies, while the measurement of R&D, and its affection to the productivity and profitability of companies is challenging and unclear. The aim of this study is to examine the partial productivity of R&D. Theoretical framework includes Total Productivity Model (TPM) and earlier studies in R&D productivity. In the study is found that R&D costs can formulate one input of TPM although some deficits. Therefore, problems in the measurement of RD productivity are also discussed and solutions for problems are presented.
