The knowledge management strategy for manufacturing enterprises in the new era

This paper analyzes the environment changes of manufacturing enterprises in the 21(st) century and points out that knowledge is the strategic resource of manufacturing enterprises, which will determines the competitive capability of an enterprise. Knowledge management is a new task in modern business management. Manufacturing enterprises should establish their knowledge management strategies according the the knowledge-based enterprise theory. The goal, contents and implementation base of the knowledge management strategy is analyzed from a systematic view. An implementing measure for knowledge management strategy - knowledge supply chain is proposed, it concept and significance are introduced and several issues needing further researched are put forward.
