摘要：
The female of Dichotomius ribeiroi (Pereira, 1954) is described for the first time. Information on the geographical distribution, illustrations of the male habitus, male genital organ and sclerites of the internal sac, as well as the differences in the female external morphology are presented. Dichotomius ribeiroi is placed within the "cotopaxi" species group based on the external morphology and male genitalia. The "cotopaxi" species group is also redefined.
