Report on the 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting July 8-14, 2012, Chicago, Il, USA

The 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation and USNC-URSI Radio Science Meeting was held at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers in Chicago, IL, US, from July 8-14, 2012. The Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers as the venue of the event, as it facilitated interaction among people by providing large common spaces and keeping all attendees sufficiently close to each other. The Hospitality Suite welcomed a record number of registered guests, with the program for children of those attending the Awards Banquet. The Steering Committee made significant efforts to organize the event and make it success. The achievements of the Steering Committee included the creation of an interesting technical program by providing two plenary sessions and organizing 1585 oral and poster presentations.
