ASPECTS OF THE ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL GLOBALIZATION PROCESS

In the current context, the identification and neutralization of security threats implies also the proper defining of the concept of globalization. The process is perceived as being correlated to economic and financial issues, a perspective that is partially correct or incorrect if we take into consideration the fact that at the level of the general public, globalization is seen as phenomenon through which life standard and the level of growth are being homogenized at a global scale. Globalization represents in fact a complex assemblage of processes, its main objective being that of international integration. The present paper, apart from underlining some general aspects also analyzes the phenomenon from to different perspectives from an economic point of view and from a cultural one - in the attempt to find a coherent solution to the dilemma.
