MODELING OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GRAPHICAL REPRESENTATIONS ON GEOGRAPHY: CONCEPTUAL SEMANTIC NETWORK MAP

Is that the consensus language in its various forms and sounds, is recorded to be used in different roles or needs; with the technological advancement opportunities and diversity of registration and use of language have varied a lot and allowed users to major policies to intervene in the process of knowledge construction. The purpose of this article is to present the possibilities of use of language and knowledge construction through the process of concept maps and their conversion to the semantic network, in this case using the concepts and basic information of the topics related to geography/Cartography focused on graphical representations for learning orientation, location, and social and political understanding of the phenomena in the geographical space. For such exposure and analysis we use Pontuschka references (2007), Novak (1984) and computer programs in the form of .net being the CreatePajek, and the gephi software; Thus we believe that, from a relationship of complementarity between the geography and Informatics, the concepts and applicability of themes inherent in geography/Cartography can be represented and used for this form of representation.
