The Influences of P2O5 Addition on Crystallization Mechanism of Mica Glass-Ceramics

摘要
The influences of P2O5 addition on crystallization behavior of mica glass-ceramics were characterized by DTA, XRD and SEM. The results show that the additives of P2O5 promote phases separation but depress crystallization of mica. The crystallization mechanisms change from two-dimensional to one-dimensional with adding P2O5, and the shape of mica grains changes from plates to needles. Adding 3wt% P2O5 on parent glass reduces the crystallization activation energy from 323.37 to 184.23 kJ/mol.
