Corporate Governance and business valuation: New Approaches by means of functional business valuation

Up to date, literature and praxis include a lack of a conceptual view with regard to the effects of "good" corporate governance to companies' values. For this reason, this article tries to develop a definition of corporate governance as well as of "good" corporate governance and to implement it to the theory of functional business valuation. Against this background an approach will be developed that examines if good corporate governance has an impact on the decision value and the argumentation value.
