Implementation of MAPLE procedures for simulating an industrial multi-stage evaporator

摘要
MAPLE procedures have been developed to carry out the analyses and the design of state feedback laws for square nonlinear control affine process systems using differential geometric theory [1, 7]. A procedure has also been developed to carry out the closed-loop simulation of nonlinear processes with MIMO Globally Linearizing Control (MIMOGLC) The procedures are developed in MAPLE 5.4 [17, 18] environment. The procedures are combined as a MAPLE package called nlcontsys. The use of nlcontsys package was demonstrated on a double-effect [11] and a five-effect evaporator [12]. The results showed that the package lcontsys can be readily used for the analysis and design of nonlinear control systems using differential geometric theory [1]. Continuous development of the nlcontsys package is being undertaken.
