An Overview of "From Earth to the Universe" in the International Year of Astronomy 2009

We provide a summary of the "From Earth to the Universe'' (FETTU) project that endeavors to bring astronomical images to a wide audience during IYA2009. The goals of this project include displaying astronomical images and content-rich material to the public in non-traditional venues such as public parks, metro stations; art centers, and more. The FETTU project is designed to be flexible to match both the funding available and the desires of specific locations.
