Resistance and middle classes in South zone.

The article aims at examining closely the place of the middle classes in the Resistance both in terms of representation and actual commitment. Indeed, the responsibility of the middle classes is called upon with regard to fascism whatever its forms as well as with regard to politicking orientations or to the assumed failure of the Resistance. Such are the stereotypes which are used as starling points and conclusion to the study. Moreover it also evaluates the special contribution of the middle classes to various types of resistance, thus trying to point out specializations. in fact, the central place of the middle classes in the Resistance corresponds to a function which is somehow a structural commitment in the civil realms which can be spotted before, during or after the war.
