摘要：
The objective of this paper is to present some aspects regarding the superficial cold plastic deformation (SCPD) of the exterior cylindrical surfaces, using a rotorolling process. Starting from the actual known studies, authors highlight the constructive solution of the original working head and the whole device realized, in order to apply the rotorolling process for use revolution metal parts. Mathematical modeling of the process allows to establish the form of the target functions after applying this type of mechanical treatment to the OLT35 shaft type parts, assessing also the processing parameters influence on the superficial layer microhardness.Conclusions highlight the positive aspects resulting from the process application and directions for future researches open in this area.
