An Experimental Research on the Influence of the Implicit Aggression of College Students in Sports TV Violence

The Implicit Association Test (IAT) was adapted to measure implicit aggression in different types of sports TV violence. This study showed that the sports TV violence fragment will make the implicit aggression of college student's increase. However, TV sports violence fragments with punishment Content have effect on implicit aggression was significantly lower than the video with no punishment Content; this study also showed that Gender has no effect on implicit aggression. The analysis thinks, short-term exposure to violent media will more likely lead to negative effect.
