摘要
The article introduces the application of the Cellular Automata and Predator-Prey model to simulate effects of natural enemies to the growth and spread of the brown planthopper in rice fields. The article also mentions the use of GIS data for spatial simulation, thus helping the simulating results more visual and more realistic. The model can support prediction and prevention based on natural enemies hoppers without affecting the ecological environment and less costly. The results of the model is tested with real data about BPH in Dong Thap in 2010.
