The effect of Pd addition to LaFeO3 perovskite on its activity in hydrocarbons oxidation

摘要
La, Fe and Pd nitrates were mixed together in various proportions and calcinated at 750 degrees C to obtain La1-xPdxFeO3 (x = 0-0.25) perovskites supported on a steel substrate and then used as an active catalyst layer for oxidn. of MeH and hexane. A partial replacement of La with Pd in the perovskite resulted in an increase in their catalytic activity. The activity increased with increasing Pd content in perovskite.
