摘要
The Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) developed by EADS Space Transportation for the space segment is intended to service the International Space Station (ISS). Such an automated rendezvous mission towards a manned facility requires high performances and severe safety constraints for the vehicle which is fail operational and fail safe. To fulfil safety requirements several dedicated functions are implemented on board. One of them is the Flight Control Monitoring (FCM) designed to monitor the ATV state vector with a high level of performance, independently from the nominal GNC function. The FCM monitoring strategy and its threshold tuning, for a given ATV flight phase, depends on the ISS exclusion zones to respect, the current ATV dynamics, the capability of contingency manoeuvres and the navigation sensors performances used by the function. The validation process of FCM is performed at different steps to achieve the performance as well as to perform functional validations.
