摘要：

Recently, the medical device development become increasingly important. Given the trends in developed countries, such as significant efforts to improve quality of life and aging population, the area of efficient use of financial resources for health care is solved. The aim of this paper is to specify the position of the in world economies, and characterize selected economic and social aspects in regard to the potential growth of this industry.
