摘要：
The Hausdorff number of a space X is H(X) - min{tau : for every subset A subset of X such that vertical bar A vertical bar >= tau there exist neighbourhoods U-a for all a is an element of A so that boolean AND U-a is an element of A(a) = empty set}. Some known cardinal inequalities for Hausdorff spaces are generalized in terms of the Hausdorff number.
