摘要
Vitrification of immature buffalo oocytes has been attempted using different cryoprotectants with variable results (Nag and Maurya, 1997; Saxena and Maurya, 1999; Wani et al., 2004). Maturation rates of vitrified immature goat oocytes were lower than for fresh oocytes (Agrawal, 1999). Mature oocytes are more suitable for application of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and related biotechnologies and their cryopreservation efficiency is also higher than immature oocytes (Shaw et al., 1999). Therefore, two concentrations of ethylene glycol (EG) were examined for vitrification of in vitro matured (IVM) buffalo oocytes and supplementation of maturation media with BSA or FCS was compared.
