Study on landscape pattern change of soil erosion in Yellow River Basin, China

摘要
In order to study the landscape pattern change of soil erosion in Yellow River Basin, the technologies of remote sensing and geographical information system were used. At first, the soil erosion index model was explored and developed to study soil erosion change in Yellow River Basin; Secondly, the mathematical methodology that studying landscape-ecology was used for study on landscape pattern chances of soil erosion in Yellow River Basin, which including: the landscape diversity index(H), the landscape dominant index(D), the landscape homogeneity index(E) and the landscape broken index(C). According to these landscape indexes of spatial patterns, the landscape pattern changes of soil erosion were been analyzed in recent five years. The result showed that the main erosion types are water erosion, wind erosion and frozen erosion in Yellow River Basin; The intensity of soil erosion were gradually decreased as a whole, but in some regions the soil erosion became more severe in recent five years; The population growth, farming, forest degradation and fuel wood cutting are the canonical factors causing the soil erosion in Yellow River Basin, China.
