摘要
This paper deals with the transient analysis of software rejuvenation model. Concretely, we apply the phase expansion to the basic software rejuvenation model by Garg et al. (1995). The phase expansion is the approximation technique which utilizes the phase-type approximation. After applying the phase expansion, we formulate the interval reliability. In a numerical example, we investigate the accuracy of the approximation for the interval reliability.
