摘要
Metal porous materials are possessed of traits of metal materials and functional materials. Metal porous materials are gaining their popularity in engineering applications due to their special properties, such as lower density, larger specific surface area, higher mechanical strength and excellent permeability. In this paper, the recent progress for research of metal porous materials by powder metallurgy technology were reviewed. Biomechanical metal porous materials, shape memory alloy (SMA), porous tungsten electrode materials, porous stainless steel materials and porous copper materials were mainly analyzed.
