摘要
The integration of four nanostructure enhanced power system components for energy conversion, storage, or transmission are discussed for use on a CubeSat. Quantum dot enhanced multijunction photovoltaics, and carbon nanotube enhanced or composed lithium ion batteries, metal-free wire harnesses, and thermoelectric devices are demonstrated and compared against commercial components procured from Clyde Space. Implications for reduction in mass or increase in mission lifetime is discussed.
