摘要
In this paper, we will calibrate the MIKE 11 model, using observed and measured data during a flood event in the summer of 2010, on the Bahlui and Jijia rivers, which led to flooding the Dorohoi city, causing major damages. Basically, we will compare the observed maximum water level during the flood, with the maximum water level resulted by computation of MIKE 11 model, with values resulted by manual calculations. If the water level during the flood coincides with the water level obtained by computation of MIKE 11 software, it means that the model is calibrated. Otherwise, it is necessary to change the hydrological and hydraulic parameters of the boundary conditions and the input data in the model, running again the software in order to recalculate the maximum water levels.
