摘要：
The alpha-bromination reaction of arylacenones with 1,2-dipyridiniumditribromide-ethane (DPTBE) as brominating agent under solvent-free condition, selectively gave the corresponding alpha-bromoarylacenones derivatives with a simple procedure and excellent yields.
