摘要
Using chemical reduction technique silver nanoparticles have been synthesized having size <5 nm with controllable size distribution. The size of the silver nanoparticles is controlled using reducing agent sodium borohydride and characterized using UV-visible spectroscopy technique. This method under the frame work of Mie theory is used to determine particle size and size distribution. The UV-vis absorbance is used to characterize the kinetics of formation and final colloid stability.
