摘要
Universities have important effect on the development of high-tech industry by the R&D (Research and Development) and the cultivation of talents. And university gatherings will expand this effect. So, this paper clearly analyzes the effect of Universities agglomeration on the High-tech Industry Development and Employment Growth. Firstly, this paper analyzes the conception of universities agglomeration and its influence mechanism on high-tech industry. Then, it presents double fixed effect model to trace the relationship between university agglomeration and the development of high-tech industry, further the impact of the university agglomeration and high-tech industry on the employment in the region by the panel data of 26 cities in China from 2009 to 2015. Finally, theoretical and empirical results have confirmed that the development of high-tech industry dose have great effect on the development of high-tech industry and the growth of regional employment.
