摘要：
This keynote addresses an innovative and holistic style for engineering major structures in India but also possibly relevant to China, which combines state of the art Design Techniques with Construction Technology developed to suit their special construction environment where the cost of labour to materials in construction, is 25%: 75% respectively, a scenario similar to that which existed in Europe at the beginning of the last century.
