The effect of imperfect power control and sectorization on the capacity of CDMA system with variable spreading gain

摘要
This paper gives the theories for the reverse link performance of a cellular DS CDMA system which supports integrated services, voice and data, with imperfect power control and imperfect sectorization in multiple cells. The system capacity is given by the equations under the effect of power control and sectorization in their imperfections. Numerical results are not discussed in this paper. However, the theories which are given in this paper provide an adequate theories for evaluating the system capacity of integrated services at the same system. The system capacity is expected to decrease with increasing the imperfection of power control and sectorization. However, although the sectorization is not perfect, dividing cells into some sectors will help to increase the system capacity.
