摘要
In order to comply with the international standards imposed on sulfur gas emissions into the atmosphere, certain treatments are necessary. Consequently, it is becoming more and more essential to recover and treat these gaseous effluents before their emission into the atmosphere in order to produce energy and further protect the environment. The activity of the catalysts used for the partial oxidation of these gases to produce energy through the conversion of hydrogen and other sulfur products. Thus, the possibility of producing of dihydrogen and the simultaneous elimination of highly toxic contaminants is attractive. The simultaneous production of sulfur and water by catalytic oxidation of H2S in the presence of SO2 is studied under different operating conditions. The experiments will be carried out in a test bench, which was built in our laboratory with the aim of studying all the stages of the catalytic H2S oxidation. Copyright (c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd.
