Ionic and electronic processes in Li-ion batteries

摘要
Both ionic and electronic phenomena occurring in LixC6/Li+/Li1-xMn2O4 cell are described. Structure studies of deintercalated spinet revealed the existence of a broad phase transition from cubic into orthorhombic phase. Low temperature electrical properties of the Li1-xMn2O4 cathode as a function of lithium concentration are presented. Thermoelectric power and electrical conductivity measurements indicate that the manganese spinet undergoes a modification of electronic structure which controls the intercalation process.
