Lifetime optimisation of multi-primary OLED displays

摘要
Polymer and Small Molecule OLED self-emissive displays have high brightness, almost perfect viewing angle, and fast response time. Also, OLEDs can generate many different colours. An OLED display with an extra fourth primary can reproduce a wider colour gamut than a conventional three primary RGB display. Apart from that it allows to increase the lifetime of the OLED display. This paper shows how a multi-primary display with a wider gamut can use the redundancy to increase its lifetime.
