The series impedance method was used to study the temperature changes of piezoelectric properties of (NH4)(4)LiH3(SO4)(4) (ALHS) At RT, the anisotropy of the elastic properties in the XY plane of this crystal was determined and found to be in good agreement with the results of Brillouin scattering studies. The d(14) piezoelectric moduli showed a significant maximum at T-c = 232 K whereas d(31) and d(33) moduli were not temperature dependent.
