摘要
This paper describes a pioneering research work in Malaysia to remotely detect brown plant hopper (BPH) using color images. The automation process involves image processing, with an aim to automatically examine, sort and count the number of BPH. The results contribute to additional field data based on remote implementation of electronic systems, where the BPH is threatening paddy yield.
