摘要
This experimental investigation focuses on the application of piezoelectric sensors/actuators for wing flutter and vertical tail buffet suppression. The test article consists of a foam airfoil shell enveloped around an aluminium plate support structure with bonded piezoelectric actuators and sensors. Wind-tunnel test results for the wing are presented for the open- and closed-loop systems. Piezoelectric actuators were effective in suppressing flutter and the wake-induced buffet vibration over the range of parameters investigated.
