摘要
Nowadays After-sales Maintenance of product became more and more frequently, and the most permanent questions derived is how to maintain these products efficiently and rapidly. Fault diagnosis (FD) plays a very important role in the maintenance of product and after sale. In this paper, a strategy for FD using the CBR (Case-Based Reasoning) and BOM (bill of material) is presented. The fault diagnostic principle of CBR is analyzed In detail in this paper. We proposed a three layers architecture of intelligent fault diagnostic system, On the basis of the system, this paper describe all relevant key process such as, case matching, case learning program and case maintenance. In this system, maintenance engineers can retrieve the information from previous cases which closely resemble the new problem and solve the new problem quickly by using the information from the BOM database.
