摘要
The simultaneous use of the radioactive gas tracer procedure and alpha-spectrometry in diffusion structural analysis of layered materials was analyzed. The spectra of alpha-particles emitted from uniform and layered plates exposed to diffusion annealing in an atmosphere of a radioactive gas were evaluated. Primary attention was focused on the modes of equilibrium sorption and stationary and nonstationary permeability. As a whole, the resulting alpha-spectra correspond to the concentration profile of the radioactive gas tracer with overestimated contribution of the low-energy component. The device function is characterized by steep high-energy and flattened low-energy slopes. The developed procedure allows determination of the depth of location of areas with abnormally high sorption capacity, calculation of the critical capacity of absorption centers and corresponding potential wells, and calculation of the potential barriers of the traps.
